RAK Cards And New Software

Aloha everyone,
I'm sure we all wish we had more hours in the day. This past couple of weeks I wanted more days in the week! Go figure.
While in Nevada last month, we had the pleasure of meeting my sister-in-law's and her husband's friends from their Tai Chi class.  Jerry and Carol is such a  sweet and fun couple  we met on this trip.  Turns out Jerry is a talented cardmaker; he heard that I enjoy doing the same thing.  When we all met for lunch one day, he had these wonderful cards and bookmark for me.
awesome RAKS!
Do you see Sunbonnet Sue? She's in washi/yuzen? I love it.  Jerry is also a good photographer; see his flower card?  He took that photo himself.  Thank you Jerry!

I recently purchased a digital scrapbook software called My Memories.  Cindy at Whimsical Musings is having a contest and she's giving away this very software! Go to her blog to get the lowdown on how to enter, but hurry, the winner will be picked this Friday.  But if you don't win, it's OK, she's also offering a $10 discount.
Anyway, I just got done playing with the program and this is what I came up with.
My first digi scrapbook page
I've never done this before with so much freedom to move or adjust objects around the page.  This was fun to do, though it took me a while to figure out.
So now I have a question for those of you that do digi art.  I don't know how digital stamps work.  I know I didn't hear anyone laugh.   Can someone help and explain how digi stamping works please?
Ok, I know this post is too long, so I'll go play with my new software.  Have a great rest of the week.  Thanks for your visit.
Aloha,

And you're so welcome about the discount! I am thinking of starting a separate blog to show everyone's amazing creations for scrapbooking...how neat would that be?

A year ago, a blogging friend told me that she knows people who make a fortune from digital scrapbooking...How fun would that be?

  4. Hello! I saw some videos about digital stamping. I was a bit confused why it is called digital stamping.

But the way I understand it is that it is basically black and white clip art drawings which you can color by yourself using any drawing tools you have like photoshop or you can even use ms word and print it. Cut them, make any kinds of arts and crafts with it.
I don't know if I was of any help lol. kinda interesting though. I will try to use that sometime.
    Thanks for sharing!
